Role overview: We require active and interested Patient Partners to refine our research, examining the impact of conventional cancer treatment on their lived experiences. Patient Partners are encouraged to be involved in all aspects of this project as research team members. Priority setting, analysis plans, results and knowledge translation activities will be developed in collaboration with Patient Partners.
 
Knowledge, experience, skills required: Someone who has experience with head and neck cancer, as a patient/survivor, caregiver, friend, or family member.
 
Time commitment: Patient Partners are welcome to commit as much time as they wish during this project but at the very minimum there are three 2-hour meetings. Additional time may be spent via emails/video conferencing/phone calls, developing materials and discussing results and knowledge translation opportunities.
 
Location: Saskatoon (WebEx)
 
What you can expect from staff: Patient Partners can collaborate with the research team in each and every step of the project. Also, you will be encouraged to present conferences and workshops.
 
Supports available to participate: Honoraria and Expense Reimbursement
